This scene has been surprisingly hellish to make, you can probably guess what factor has been throwing all the spanners in the works. Hopefully in the long run the reasons we have a mute character making my life difficult on weekly basis will pay off with the respective story elements that are spun from it or I will ask the regulars off Topless Robot to write a torture story of her and send it to her fictional mailbox. Just kidding, love her really. Love her like her daddy loved her ok stopping now
One thing I really, really love…his fingers. They’re so squared and masculine in comparison to her dainty little pointed fingers. Such character in those rugged man hands. <3

The expressions are perfect! You do an amazing job at showing what she’s thinking and moving things along despite having a mute character

This series has promise. Something just needs to happen with this story arc.
Patience. Web comics come at a trickle pace. We see a glimpse at a time instead of a whole book at once. Noora built the introductions and planted the seed that all is not well in this corner of hell. Lilly is on the hunt for a trail she isn’t even certain to find at first.
I’m just asking for an increased pace not a whole book. Jeez.

I think those five little lines in the last panel are Nayko in a nutshell.

It’s mostly all my handwriting, I re-do the letters until they look right so it’s a bit laborous (my handwriting is terrible most of the time) but I feel it’s quite an important part for the immersion. The bits of Sharky’s inner monologue are a default font in photoshop, I can’t remember exactly which one though and can’t dig it up now. :E
First of all – thank you for this amazing comics ^^ Though, I must confess, long periods of wait are painful, new pages are rewarding enough.
Great character design, very interesting world and, of course, amazing hands’ drawings!
Actually, since I’ve been checking on the series from the beginning, I must say that your style and the whole feel of the story have changed a lot. I liked mild, water-fulled colours of the first pages, but now, slowly, I start to see the appeal of the darker and heavier style.
What bugs me a bit is why on the first pages Sharky didn’t try to come in contact with Nayko and now they get along so easily.
Noes, thank you for reading! I know the wait must be very annoying, it does fragment the story experience a lot. :c It’s a difficult juggle between personal life and occasional wrist health issues and updating regularily, and sometimes there are quieter phases (like right now), but I try to make up for it by uploading in quicker succession when I do have more time.
The style has changed a lot hasn’t it! It’s also been night time for a while now, though, perhaps we will see more of that watery, foggy dream in future?
And hopefully most things that are bugging now will be answered as the story forwards! We look forward to sharing it all with you awesome people.
